SamePage gains first go-live at Green Deal Finance Company

The customer is the Green Deal Finance Company (GDFC), originally a UK government scheme which now a privately-owned lender is supporting homeowners to invest in renewable energy and other environmentally-friendly products. The selection at GDFC was “good timing for us and accelerated our route to market”, says Same Page director, James Snow. Along with his two fellow directors, Snow is ex-Target Group and, as with this long-standing loans processing specialist, Same Page is based in Cardiff. Target was bought by India-based Tech Mahindra in August 2016. However, the incumbent supplier at GDFC – from the UK government days – was another UK lending specialist, Nostrum. GDFC was looking to modernize, says Snow, and wanted a complete digital platform. The Same Page solution was taken to improve new loan applications processing and decision times, and enabled GDFC to quickly launch new fully branded partners, and add or update lending products within minutes.
