Press release: CDC invests $11.5m in African higher education business UNICAF

A company dedicated to making international standard higher education available to Africans has received a long-term US$11.5m investment from CDC, the UK’s development finance institution. CDC’s equity investment, which is announced today, will support the roll-out of UNICAF higher education learning centres across African cities, including finalising the establishment of a university campus in Malawi. CDC’s investment is expected to lead to the creation of around 1000 jobs.
