On 30 December 2015, the Council of the EU published the work programme of the three countries that will take up the rotating presidency (Netherlands, Slovakia and Malta) in the next 18 months. The Netherlands is the first to do so. The European Deposit Insurance Scheme (EDIS) and Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) are key elements of its agenda.
