Entropay is the fastest way to send and receive money online.Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was simple: Online payments should be universally accessible. We were a small team based on a small Mediterranean island where online payments were out of reach, and technology moved slowly. We couldn’t wait for someone else to solve our problem, so we set out to speed up a solution. We started Entropay in 2003 to provide online payments to everyone, regardless of their location or creditworthiness. It was a lonely time to be an Internet business—Facebook, Gmail and YouTube didn’t exist yet!—but an exciting one. We added our line to the Internet’s history book, introducing the first virtual Visa cards in Europe.
