Italian payments giant SIA has hired JP Morgan as financial advisor for all 'extraordinary transactions' - including a possible IPO. The firm, which is controlled by state lender CDP Equity, confirmed last month that it was beginning the listing process. Goldman Sachs (GS.N) ranked as the top adviser to companies targeted by activist investors in 2019, dethroning Morgan Stanley (MS.N), which had held the top spot for three straight years, according to Refinitiv data published on Friday.
