Technology is fundamentally altering our behaviour. Growing up, I was taught never to get into a car with a stranger. Today, I don’t think twice about using an app to actively request a lift from one. The success of Uber, Lyft, Didi and others suggests I am not the only one Technology provides us with a huge opportunity to change our business models, releasing some control of the component value chain in order to better meet the new needs of clients. If we ignore this opportunity, clients will either force us to change, or worse, vote with their wallets. Disrupt or be disrupted.
